Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Data Architects to join the team of one of its leading Life Insurance customers in Metro Detroit. You will design, build, and automate scalable data pipelines to support marketing analytics. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and marketing teams to prepare data, engineer features, and implement business data automation best practices. This role requires strong Python, SQL, and ML skills, experience with modern data architectures, and a passion for optimizing data workflows and tech stack. We are looking for a technically skilled, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and sees the big picture. The ideal candidate is curious, resilient, optimistic, and takes ownership while collaborating across teams. You should be passionate about solving complex data challenges and turning them into valuable business insights, with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
• Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and automate ETL/ELT pipelines for marketing analytics.
Prepare and clean data for modeling, ensuring availability for ML workflows.
Implement ML engineering solutions for model deployment and monitoring.
Optimize data storage, retrieval, and transformation processes.
Leverage AWS services (S3, Lambda, SageMaker) for data and ML workflows.
Build and maintain Power BI Data Flows for seamless data integration.
Design automated testing frameworks for data validation and transformation logic
Optimize data processes and for efficiency and scalability through intelligent automation
Create automated monitoring and alerting systems for data quality and pipeline performance
Collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries with a solutions-oriented attitude
Exhibits strong social awareness to navigate complex organizational dynamics when implementing cross-functional data systems
Design and implement process automation solutions to improve end-to-end operational efficiency and scalability
Actively seek out innovation and optimization use cases and experiments that will result in organizational transformation and sales and profit improvements.
Compensation: $147k-221k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years in Data Analytics
• Extensive experience Agentic AI and ML learning
• Solid experience in automating ML pipelines/MLOps
• Solid background in statistical analysis
• Expertise in modeling algorithms
• Strong Python & SQL coding skills
• AWS monitoring/deployment cloud platform experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, and SageMaker.
• Experience with Data Engineering orchestration tools
• Expertise in Power BI reporting/visualizations
• Outstanding people skills
Attitude, motivation, communication skills - Apache Airflow experience
- Insurance industry experience
- Marketing/marketing analytics domain experience
Recent master's degree in either Statistics, Data Science, etc. null
