Job Description
An employer based in Boulder, CO is looking for a Mid-level network engineer to join their existing government contract support team. This person will be working closely with this team to assist in the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and oversight of the computer networks that support the customer's mission critical systems. This team primarily works with Juniper network infrastructure (with some Cisco) including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize network performance using both Juniper and Cisco tools and protocols.
This is a full time, permanent role sitting on site 5 days a week in Boulder, CO. This role is posted at $120,000-$150k/yr based on tenure, skillset, and skill level.

Skills and Requirements
DoD Secret Clearance at minimum, with TS/SCI eligibility
Willingness to work fully onsite and support rotating on-call work (as part of the support team)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
Network Certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCP, etc) or equivalent industry certification
Familiarity with configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Juniper networking devices, including routers, switches and firewalls
Familiarity with networking concepts including BGP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs and routing protocols Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Juniper Networks Certification (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
Security Certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc) or equivalent null
