Essential Functions:
+ Deed Plotting
+ Preparation and set-up of survey data for field crews
+ Post survey field data analysis, Construction Layout Calculations, Grade Sheet Computation, Boundary Survey Resolution
+ ALTA/ASCM Land Title Survey Preparation
+ Topographic/Volume Analysis
+ Construction As-built Surveys and/or Layout Sketches
+ Title Report Review
+ Preparation of Metes & Bounds Descriptions
+ Project Datum Conversion/Transformation
+ Assisting Project Surveyor with obtaining necessary data to complete survey
+ All phases of field work including boundary and topographic surveys, construction layout, as-built/record surveys utilizing Leica or Trimble Total Stations with data collectors
+ Data collector operation and obtaining field measurements
+ Rotation and translation of point files for filed calculation of boundary evidence search
+ Calculation of alternate stakeout points based upon field conditions, client onsite request
+ Datum establishment utilizing GPS and data collector for onsite checking of benchmarks
+ Downloading of field data files
+ Preparation of field sketches
+ Research location of existing utility lines
+ Responsibility for correctness of field information obtained by yourself and others under your direction
+ Obtain certifications including OSHA 10, OSHA 40 Hazwoper, LPS, TWIC, etc.
+ Adherence to company procedures and checklists
+ Care, preventative maintenance, and repair of survey field equipment
+ Care and preventative maintenance of assigned company vehicle
+ Direction, training, and motivating of Instrument Operator(s)
+ Submit vehicle maintenance reports, report lost or damaged equipment
+ Report and document vehicle and work-related incidents
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ 5+ years surveying experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
+ Strong math skills
+ Proven record of producing clean and accurate plan presentations
+ Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to learn new software and technologies in a timely manner
+ Proficient with MS Word and Excel
+ Ability to meet project deadlines within budget
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team member
+ Desire to excel in a fast-paced work environment
+ Ability to take and apply direction
Physical Requirements:
+ Physical ability to lift up to (75lbs) and able to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day.
+ Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, climbing, hiking, digging/shoveling, and lifting is required.

Compensation and Benefits:
+ Pay Range: $30-$36+ per hour depending on experience.
+ Additional Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and more.
