As the **Head of UX & Digital Design** , you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience across our digital platforms. You will **establish and scale UX best practices** , ensuring that our solutions are **intuitive, efficient, and customer-centric** . This role requires a **strategic leader** who can drive **enterprise-wide UX transformation** , foster a **high-performance UX culture** , and collaborate with **cross-functional teams** to align UX with **business, technology, and innovation goals** .
You will act as **the face of DXC's UX practice** —engaging with customers, executives, and product leaders to create **seamless, scalable, and impactful digital experiences** .
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & UX Vision
+ Define and execute the **UX strategy** , ensuring alignment with **business goals, digital transformation initiatives, and platform strategies** .
+ Champion **human-centered design** principles, balancing **aesthetics, usability, and functionality** across all digital products.
+ Foster a **culture of innovation, data-driven design, and continuous UX improvement** .
+ Represent DXC in **client engagements** , influencing **customer experience strategies** and advocating for UX-driven business value.
UX Excellence & Best Practices
+ Build and implement **best-in-class UX methodologies** , including **design systems, usability research, accessibility standards, and digital design optimization** .
+ Drive **user experience consistency and efficiency** across all platforms, ensuring seamless interactions for **B2B and B2B2C customers** .
+ Oversee **UX adaptation across different environments** , including **presales demonstrations, customer-facing applications, and internal platforms** .
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
+ Work closely with **Product, Engineering, and Innovation teams** to integrate UX into the **software development lifecycle** .
+ Translate **customer needs into actionable UX strategies** , bridging the gap between **business challenges and scalable design solutions** .
+ Collaborate with **marketing, sales, and pre-sales teams** to enhance **customer engagement and product adoption through superior UX** .
People Leadership & Culture Building
+ Lead, mentor, and **develop a high-performing team of UX designers** , fostering an environment of **creativity, collaboration, and execution excellence** .
+ Drive **continuous learning and upskilling** , ensuring the team stays ahead of **UX trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices** .
+ Establish **formal and informal UX networks** , facilitating knowledge sharing and alignment across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
+ **10+ years of experience in UX design, digital product design, or human-centered design** , with at least **5 years in a leadership role** .
+ Proven expertise in **enterprise UX transformation** , creating and implementing **scalable design strategies** .
+ Strong understanding of **design thinking, usability heuristics, accessibility, and UX research methodologies** .
+ Experience leading **cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced digital environments** .
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to **influence executives and clients** .
Nice-to-Have:
+ Experience in **insurance, fintech, or highly regulated industries** .
+ Familiarity with **low-code/no-code platforms, AI-driven UX solutions, and automation-driven design** .
+ Ability to **balance strategic leadership with hands-on design expertise when needed** .
Work Environment
+ Remote, with occasional travel for customer engagements and executive meetings.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $131,300 - $243,800.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
