Job Description
The Process Controls Specialist at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our manufacturing processes. This role will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of process control systems to optimize production and minimize downtime.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Implement process control systems for various production processes, including but not limited to bottling, packaging, and distribution.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
+ Schedule and conduct assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
+ Maintain Controls hardware and software.
+ Conduct regular assessments of existing control systems to identify areas for optimization and upgrade.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process control systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
+ Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on the use and maintenance of process control systems.
+ Maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to process control systems and recommend relevant improvements.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and operation of process control systems.
Job Requirements
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
+ Experience in process controls or automation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
+ Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
+ Beverage manufacturing experience highly preferred
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
+ Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required by business needs
+ Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods.
+ Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
