Nightwing has a unique position for a Contracts Manager to support a portfolio of government and domestic commercial contracts in the Cyber Protection Solutions business.
This role requires working in a collaborative team environment, where the ideal candidate will be able to support and advise across functional lines to achieve desired business outcomes. Supporting a diverse customer base, the Contracts Manager must demonstrate advanced contract negotiation skills along with a strong level of program management acumen. This role is responsible for managing multiple contract vehicles.
In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to be a strong negotiator with a demonstrated ability to skillfully manage and be directly accountable for ensuring overall performance success. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and must be able to interface with internal and customer management.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to enable proper contract acquisition.
+ Provide support to contractual and business issues.
+ Draft, review and negotiate contracts/contract modifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as public law requirements.
+ Summarize contract issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, and formulate recommendations.
+ Act as the primary interface with customers during proposal phase, negotiations, and contract performance.
+ Negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract.
+ Work well as a member of the cross business team (CBT), and foster teamwork with both external and internal customers.
+ Manage relationships with both Government and commercial customers.
Required Skills:
+ 8 years of experience in the field of Contract Management, Negotiations, or related fields.
+ U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position may require public trust verification for certain customers.
+ Knowledge of, and experience with, various types of contracts, to include IDIQs as well as Cost Reimbursement, FFP, and T&M, NDAs, SOWs, Teaming Arrangements.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize actions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding and trust.
+ Demonstrated understanding of cost structures, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions
+ Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and ability to apply them appropriately, with an understanding of standard Prime Contractor flow down provisions.
Education:
+ BA/BS in Business, Finance or equivalent experience
+ A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An **Required** Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years’ experience
