    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Under the direct supervision of the supervising physician, assesses patients and prescribes/delivers medical care; performs focused case management activities by prescribing/rendering medications; collaborates with employees and other providers.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Certification by the North Carolina Medical Board to practice as a Physicians Assistant-certified (PA-C) having met all requirements.

    2. One year of experience in outpatient/inpatient experience is preferred.

    3. Computer skills are desirable.
