Description
POSITION PURPOSEThe Customer Service Associate works as a member of the store sales team to lead a positive customer and brand experience and promote sales. The Customer Service Associate is responsible for running registers as well as working to maintain sales floor, visual standards and processing goals. The Customer Service Associate delivers customer service with respect, dignity, and builds loyalty to the Retrospect brand. The position is a member of the Retail Team. Understands vintage and current trends.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
+ Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
+ Successfully process register transactions, handle money, count down a drawer, and ask every customer for a Round-Up donation. Must achieve 40% Round-Up transaction average every month.
+ Engages customers successfully using the following steps: a) Greet every customer 5 feet from you b) Focus on your customer c) Maintain a clean, neat, and organized store d) Walk, Talk, and Show e) Thank your customer for supporting our free job training and education initiatives f) Listen and respond appropriately to all customer concerns g) Engage customers at the register h) Effectively manage your register line i) Use good phone etiquette and answer within 3 rings, and j) Provide short, clear, timely announcements.
+ Performs duties as a processor to ensure daily deliveries reach the sales floor.
+ Complete opening and closing procedures as necessary.
+ Must stock and maintain sales floor with newly processed merchandise.
+ Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by recovering standards through sizing of merchandise and organization of wares and furniture.
+ Maintains fitting room service and cleanliness.
+ Establish or identify prices of goods through the Retrospect pricing guide.
+ Ability to utilize systems, including phones and paging systems and make regularly scheduled announcements.
+ Maintains interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, and orderly manner (includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, washing windows, etc.).
+ Must maintain a clean and neat personal appearance at all times. Must wear company issued uniform.
+ Regular attendance is required.
+ All other essential duties as assigned.
