Overview SOSi is currently seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Analyst to join our team in Charleston, SC. The PeopleSoft Analyst position provides functional and technical direction for our customer’s PeopleSoft 9.2 Federal Payroll/HR/Benefits program. Responsibilities include requirements, fit gap, design, development, testing and support related activities. Essential Job Duties Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing. Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications to leverage delivered functionality. Understand payroll core processing, pay cycle management, retroactive payroll and off-cycle payments. Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll processing errors. Develop simple SQL queries to assist in data analysis and testing results. Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documentation as necessary. Work with the development team to design and implement system modifications, work with the QA team to get the product tested, and ensure successful delivery of the work products. Conduct and inform project team and customer on payroll research with best practices in processing and automation. Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the PeopleSoft application and develops processes and documentation that support the Software Development Lifecycle. Provide Production Support and work with business and technical teams to identify and resolve defects while following a structured issue resolution methodology. Possess knowledge of PeopleSoft application architecture, PeopleTools, and integration frameworks. Formulates management reports, summarizes findings and creates customer communications. Minimum Requirements Active In-Scope Secret clearance required or the ability to obtain and retain one. Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of experience in related field. Two to five years of experience with PeopleSoft Release 9.2 Payroll/HR/Benefits. Requires knowledge of PeopleTools including SQR, App Designer, BI Publisher, PeopleCode and Application Engine. Experience with the analysis and implementation of Oracle PUMs and Tax updates to keep payroll compliant. Functional and Technical understanding of key processes in PeopleSoft Payroll/HR/Benefits and Accounting. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms. Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Federal Payroll desired. Experience with JIRA or other tools to plan, track and release software projects Work Environment On-site location at government facility in Charleston, SC Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
