    We’re hiring a Senior Development Coordinator in Dallas, TX. The Sr. Coordinator provides event and administrative support to our social campaigns including Go Red For Women, Cotes du Coeur and Collin County Heart Ball.

     

    Responsible for assisting with logistics of auxiliary fundraising events; maintaining donor databases; schedules and meetings; controlling inventory of marketing, presentation, or fundraising materials; and preparing financial or operations reports as requested.

     

    This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. The office is in Irving, TX.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate event logistics for assigned events. This includes coordinating with vendors to execute logistics.

    + Coordinate the vendor contract process for assigned events to ensure that each event is following American Heart Association best practices, guidelines and procedures. Track vendors’ adherence to contractual obligations and perform as agreed upon.

    + Serve as back up to run reports from internal databases and systems.

    + Track and report on sponsorship income, pledged dollar amounts and event donation information for events.

    + Prepare, edit, and maintain fundraising materials and presentations as well as event collateral and marketing material for all social campaigns.

    + Ensure expenses for events are coordinated with directors and AVP and monitor the event budget. Process and track invoices, expenses, and peripheral accounts for events. Prepare and distribute budget reports as requested.

    + Prepare and communicate schedules, meetings and ensure deadlines are met for responsible projects.

    + Perform other administrative duties.

    + May assist with collecting and depositing of donations.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    + 5 years of experience in administrative support, event planning, or equivalent experience.

    + Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook.

    + Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the territory. Requires access to reliable transportation.

    + Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and/or moving.
