**Position Overview:** The Provider Network Account Executive I (AE I) conducts orientation sessions, makes education visits, functions as a proactive practice account leader, and coordinates the resolution of provider issues. Demonstrates a working knowledge and ability to explain Plan regulations, policies, and procedures to providers. This requires the Account Executive to stay current with all updates and revisions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and manage the provider network to ensure appropriate access to services throughout the Plan’s territory, in compliance with State and Federal mandates for all products.

+ Identify, contact, and actively solicit qualified providers to participate in the Plan in new and existing service areas and products.

+ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Plan reports and metrics to evaluate the performance of assigned providers, practices, and facilities.

+ Use data to develop and implement methods to enhance relationships.

+ Support the Quality Management department with credentialing and re-credentialing processes.,

+ Deliver accurate, timely activity and metric reports as required. Identify and maintain strong partnerships with appropriate internal resources and stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

+ 1 to 3 years of experience in a Provider Services position working with providers.

+ 3 to 5 years of experience in the managed care/health insurance industry.

+ Medicaid experience preferred.

+ Proven capability to work autonomously, build influential relationships within and outside the organization, lead meetings and training sessions, prioritize tasks effectively, and resolve issues efficiently.
