We are looking for a Specialty Crop Sales Representative to join our Agricultural Solutions team supporting Central/Western Washington territory.

As a Specialty Crop Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in developing a territorial plan to present to the District Sales Manager while collaborating with the local Technical Service Representative on trial work and technical bulletins. BASF Corporation is looking for qualified candidates in Central Washington. This territory will cover a range of specialty crops including apples, cherries, hops, blueberries, grapes, and potatoes. The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing accounts in the territory and meeting BASF-specified targets by creating value for the existing customer base through products, services, and/or solutions from BASF and our partners.

+ Creating value-based relationships with distributors, retailers, and influencers to exceed customer expectations.
+ Developing and executing a Territory Plan aligned with district objectives and an Account Plan with a segmented customer base.
+ Understanding customer needs and creating tailored solutions, providing value beyond agricultural chemicals.
+ Identifying growth opportunities in new markets and existing segments by analyzing customer interactions and brand usage.
+ Collaborating with retailers and distributors to achieve joint success and developing marketing initiatives that communicate the value of innovation.
+ Managing a territory with an entrepreneurial focus, creating local marketing plans, forecasting, and continuously seeking self-improvement to ensure success.
If you...
+ Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science (such as Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology) or a related field.
+ Have a minimum of 5 years of field sales, marketing, and/or account manager experience.
+ Demonstrate strong Customer Relationship Management skills.
+ Exhibit leadership capabilities.
+ Showcase strategic thinking abilities.
+ Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Demonstrate the ability to influence and impact others.
+ Have other skills such as strong presentation, business acumen, innovation/creativity, teamwork, and time management.
