    **Boeing Global Services (BGS)** is seeking a **Facilities Architect** to join our team in **Springfield, VA** . This organization supports mission critical government programs.

     

    This position will require extensive customer interaction in a service-oriented environment and will work with a small team of engineers and an Architect Professional (AP). Daily tasks will involve using SAP and AutoCAD.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Develops moderately complex conceptual designs, final designs and provides maintenance support for the architectural phases of buildings, equipment installations, utility systems and grounds

    + Leads and develops projects from early concept through design development

    + Prepares drawings, specifications, and construction documents

    + Reviews and documents facilities building projects

    + Consults with clients to determine their requirements

    + Coordinates preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and facilities development

    + Works with teams across building facilities and engineering lines of effort, and coordinate with subcontractors

    + Resolves design issues with innovative and practical solutions

    + Modifies existing plans to fit client needs

     

    Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + AutoCAD experience

    + Architectural experience

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture pre-start

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years' Architectural experience

    + An active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

     

    Summary pay range Entry-level: $68,000 - $92,000

     

    Summary pay range Associate: $83,300 - $112,700
