Description
Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support a 6-8 week 100% remote engagement with a Fortune 500 organization. Project will consist of helping the client build out dashboards and financial reporting (for inventory and intercompany transactions) using tools such as Alteryx, Looker, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, and Power BI. Candidates must have proficiency and experience utilizing several of those tools, as well as general familiarity of GAAP and Accounting procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain financial reports using tools such as Alteryx, Looker, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Analyze and interpret data from organizational tables to support decision-making processes.
• Perform account reconciliations, manage journal entries, and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Apply expertise in inventory and intercompany accounting to identify and implement process automation opportunities.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to streamline financial processes and data analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance reporting capabilities using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Manage and optimize workflows using GitHub to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support system integration and data analytics initiatives to improve financial operations.
• Leverage SAP expertise to ensure compliance with organizational accounting standards and practices.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, SAP, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and intercompany accounting principles.
• Experience with data analytics platforms such as Looker, Alteryx, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools like Power BI (preferred).
• Understanding of GitHub workflows and their application in accounting processes (nice to have).
• Ability to perform account reconciliations, manage journal entries, and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
