Description

Our client, a commercial litigation firm, is seeking to add a Litigation Paralegal to their team. The firm focuses on white collar criminal defense and investigations, civil litigation, corporate counseling and transactions, and appeals. The firm is located in the Financial District and is looking to hire quickly!

• Assists attorneys in proofreading and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Performs e-filing at the state and federal level.

• Assists in trial preparation for multiple partners at the firm including creating electronic and hardcopy files for court.

• Conducts legal research and prepares memos.

• Understands the general complex commercial litigation process.

• Court filings, trial preparation, and reviewing documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in commercial litigation.

• Proficiency in e-filing processes at both state and federal levels.

• Strong understanding of federal court systems and procedures.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in managing multiple cases.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel for trial-related tasks as needed.

• Strong judgment and attention to detail.

• Experience in boutique law firm settings is preferred.
