Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level individual with Accounting/Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration degree or Banking experience to join our team in Miami, Florida, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring financial transactions, analyzing patterns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise while contributing to the financial integrity of a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate alerts from transaction monitoring systems to identify irregular or suspicious activities.

• Analyze client transaction patterns to detect deviations from expected behavior.

• Conduct due diligence on flagged transactions to determine their legitimacy.

• Document findings accurately and concisely for review by senior staff or regulatory authorities.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes.

• Stay updated on financial regulations and apply them effectively in daily tasks.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of compliance standards and practices.

• Work with the technology team to optimize transaction monitoring systems for improved accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with banking software and data entry processes.

• Ability to handle high-volume numeric data entry with accuracy.

• Critical thinking skills to assess and resolve inconsistencies.

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings.
