Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Pomfret, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide technical support for end users, ensuring their hardware and software systems are functioning effectively. This position requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and system maintenance.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including memory upgrades, keyboard replacements, and motherboard installations.
• Troubleshoot and manage user accounts, domains, and software-related issues.
• Set up and resolve network connectivity problems for both local and remote devices.
• Configure and test wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Provide support for devices such as Chromebooks, Apple devices, and Mac computers.
• Deploy and manage software applications, including Microsoft Office Suites and Google Workspace.
• Utilize tools like Active Directory to manage user permissions and system access.
• Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and resolutions. Requirements • Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring both Mac and PC systems.
• Experience with Android devices, Apple devices, and Chromebooks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with network technologies, including Cisco and Citrix.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and hardware deployments.
• Certification in CompTIA A+ or Apple Certified Desktop Technician (ACDT) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
