    Description

    Our client has a newly created role for an Accounting Manager to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role involves overseeing a team and ensuring all accounting functions run smoothly and efficiently. Candidate must have prior supervisory experience. Excellent benefits and time off package.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist and supervise the accounting department.

    • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed

    • Financial Reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy

    • Must be able to analyze financial statements.

    • Oversee the use of ERP for efficient resource planning

    • Ensure all accounting functions are carried out in accordance with industry standards

    • Address and resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounting functions

    Requirements

    • Extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is a must.

    • Non Profit is highly desired.

    • 5 + years of experience

    • CPA. MBA or Masters is highly preferred.

    • Understanding and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

    • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions with efficiency.

    • Strong technical skills

    • Prior experience in Auditing is highly recommended.
