Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee accounts payable operations, expense management, and financial reporting processes in Cypress, California. In this role, you will lead a team to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with company policies, and efficient cash flow management. This position is critical in supporting tax preparation, regulatory requirements, and providing insights through financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursement requests in accordance with company policies.

• Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, compliance documentation, and payment terms negotiation.

• Oversee corporate credit card programs and employee expense reimbursements to ensure adherence to internal policies.

• Monitor daily cash management activities and develop cash flow forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as accounts payable aging, cash disbursement summaries, and expense trend analysis.

• Collaborate with external tax preparers to support corporate tax filings and state income tax submissions.

• Strengthen internal controls over payables, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4–6 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, cash management, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as Concur, ADP, and Business Central.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, accrual accounting, and cash flow management.

• Experience with financial reporting platforms, dashboards, and data analysis tools.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial records.

• Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance requirements for corporate filings.

• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
