Description
The Senior Network Architect is responsible for overseeing the design, deployment, and management of computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets, internet, and other data communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
+ Network Design Leadership: Lead the planning, deployment, and optimization of Aruba wireless and switching solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-level standards while providing high-level technical oversight and staying informed on industry advancements.
+ Aruba Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Aruba wireless technologies, ClearPass, and related tools to support robust network performance.
+ Cisco Expertise: Possess in-depth understanding of Cisco networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching methodologies.
+ Security Implementation: Apply expertise in security protocols and authentication methods (e.g., RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP) to ensure network integrity and protect sensitive data.
+ Analytical Problem Solving: Leverage strong analytical skills to perform log analysis, packet captures, and debugging to resolve complex network challenges.
+ Effective Communication: Clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster collaboration and understanding.
+ Project Oversight: Manage and execute network initiatives, from design to implementation, focusing on Aruba wireless and Cisco switching solutions for enterprise environments.
+ Scalable Solutions: Architect secure, resilient, and scalable network systems that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
+ Technical Mentorship: Provide senior-level guidance, training, and support to junior engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance overall network capabilities.
+ Issue Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate network problems by analyzing traffic patterns and performance metrics to ensure operational continuity.
+ Documentation Practices: Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation to support ongoing operations and future improvements.
+ Security Integration Support: Facilitate integration of network systems with security tools such as Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, and SAML to ensure robust protection.
+ Automation Skills: Utilize familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) to streamline network processes, where applicable.
+ Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive network operations and project success.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, and Aruba certifications such as Aruba Certified Associate (ACA) or Aruba Certified Professional (ACP), along with Aruba ClearPass Certification.
Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 6–10+ years specifically in network engineering and architecture roles.
