    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    Our College Works Team is seeking an Admissions Supervisor! This position is responsible for outreach and recruitment of potential students for both College Works campuses academic programs as well as the residential component outside the immediate catchment area under the direction of the Director of School to Work and Transition Services. Under the direction of the CW Director, responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of the Utica campus. This position is on-call as specified. Serves as an integral member of the School to Work Management Team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide college-based academic instruction in work life skills, community living and transitional employ-ability skills training.

    + Develop curriculum for work life skills training in conjunction with the Director of College-Works for students enrolled. Curriculum includes pre/post tests and vocational assessments.

    + Create weekly work life skills lesson plans that will coordinate with individual treatment plans.

    + Participate in the planning and implementation of the student's day habilitation and pre-vocation plans.

    Qualifications:

    Any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Education or related and one year experience in human services or related field (Or)

    + Associate's Degree in Human Services, Education or related and two to three years of experience in human services or related field (Or)

    + High School Diploma or GED and five years of experience in the Human Services or related field.

    + Valid NYS Driver's License
