Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a leading manufacturer in the Allentown, PA area that is seeking an Accounting Manager. Job Responsibilities:

+ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.

+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

+ Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.

+ Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.

+ Lead month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating audits and tax filings.

+ Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support overall business objectives.

+ Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.

+ Proven experience (5 years) as an Accounting Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

+ Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
