• Systems Engineer

    Robert Half Technology (Jacksonville, FL)


    Description We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role requires a skilled individual with attention to detail to analyze customer needs, design system solutions, and ensure seamless integration. You will play a key part in driving technical excellence and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate requirements traceability matrices based on customer specifications, statements of work, or other documentation.

    • Design system architecture solutions by leveraging a broad understanding of hardware and software capabilities.

    • Provide project updates and address engineering issues during Systems Engineering Technical Review events and In-Progress Reviews.

    • Conduct both early-stage testing on pre-release products and on-site testing at customer locations.

    • Oversee the installation and testing processes at customer sites, providing regular status reports.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop accurate and detailed technical proposals and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).

    • Estimate the level of effort required for training device development based on customer needs.

    • Ensure the proper handling and safekeeping of government-furnished equipment and materials.

    • Perform additional tasks as required to support project and organizational goals. Requirements • Strong knowledge of simulation hardware and software, with the ability to recommend tailored solutions.

    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, management, and customers to meet project requirements.

    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 7 years of experience, or a Bachelor's in Computer Science with 9 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 15 years of relevant experience.

    • Advanced degree in engineering is preferred.

    • Must be able to obtain a security clearance as required by the contract.

    • Proficiency in tools such as CAD software, SolidWorks, Autodesk, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and C++. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
