Description We are offering an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. The role will be focusing on Intellectual Property litigation and will involve a variety of responsibilities including maintaining case files, coordinating document control systems, and assisting with enforcement strategies. The workplace offers a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the firm's proprietary electronic versions of case files including discovery, all notebooks, and indexes.

• Coordinate discovery including preparation for depositions and substantive lead work on document productions involving extensive ESI document databases.

• Utilize computerized litigation support software such as Relativity, Trial Director, Adobe, and SharePoint.

• Manage databases and conduct database searches.

• Compose correspondence and pleadings including routine notices, declarations, and motions. Create charts, indexes, and memoranda including timelines.

• Carry out docket responsibilities for case deadlines.

• Assist in trial preparation and support including responsibilities for trial software and hardware setup and coordination of travel and war room arrangements.

• Engage in IP enforcement via non-district court proceedings, including arbitration, IPR, and online marketplace.

• Assist with appellate work including the organization of appendices and cite checking briefs.

• Conduct factual and legal research. Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficiency in Civil Litigation

• Hands-on experience with Civil Litigation

• Familiarity with Civil Rights Litigation

• Commercial Litigation expertise

• Experience in Complex Business Litigation

• Knowledge of Complex Commercial Litigation

• Intellectual Property - Litigation skills

• Proficiency in Litigation

• Experience in Litigation - Civil

• Knowledge in Litigation - Class Action

• Proficiency in Litigation - Defense

• Experience in Litigation - Plaintiff

• Familiarity with Litigation - Management

• Knowledge in Litigation - Filing

• Hands-on experience with Litigation Experience

• Ability to handle Litigation Documents

• Experience as a Litigation ParaLegal

• Familiarity with Litigation Practice

• Proficiency in Litigation Support

• Experience in Jury Trials

• Knowledge of e-Discovery

• Experience in Ediscovery

• Familiarity with Electronic Discovery
