    Description

    Rapidly growing services company located in the King of Prussia, PA area is looking to staff a Sr A/P Manager with large company expertise. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure all invoice are processed and coded accurately by the accounts payable department, reconcile vendor statements, prepare AP aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items, maintain purchase orders, lead month-end and year-end AP close processes, create and implement revenue generating metrics, monitor the cash management process, and train/coach/mentor the AP team as needed. The ideal Sr A/P Manager will manage vendor relationships, and collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and internal departments to support efficient financial operations.

     

    What you get to do everyday

     

    + Manage accounts payable team

    + Oversee AP systems

    + Maintain general ledger expense accounts

    + Ensure timely collection of payments

    + Maintain AP controls

    + Develop, implement, improve, and enforce budgets

    + Prepare and process vendor 1099s

    + Verify and resolve discrepancies

    + Stay updated on industry and legislative changes

    + Review month end and AP closing reports

    *This position is fully ONSITE*

    Requirements

    The ideal Sr A/P Manager will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

    Other requirements for the Sr A/P Manager role include and are not limited to:

    + 7+ years of A/P, including 3+ years A/P management of 4+ employees

    + CPA preferred

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel

    + Strong understanding of AP systems, ERP platforms

    + Experience in implementing process improvements and financial controls
