Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Consumer Lender - Support specialist to join our client in Newark, Ohio. This is a long term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in collateral management, banking operations, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The role involves ensuring compliance with lien placement processes, managing loan documentation, and supporting the overall installment lending operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and send paid statements and documentation to customers as part of completing tasks related to the Paid Off report.
• Release liens, process entries in the Transaction Management System, and ensure accurate block entries.
• Apply state-specific vehicle laws, lien placements, and title assignments to secure the bank’s interest.
• Handle out-of-state title transfer requests and process electronic titles through online systems.
• Review loan documents, coordinate with lenders, and gather necessary information for timely lien placements.
• File and terminate statements using the appropriate Secretary of State site when applicable.
• Conduct compliance checks on secured installment collateral to verify lien accuracy.
• Identify, monitor, and resolve exceptions, notifying relevant divisions as needed.
• Provide loan payoff quotes and process payoff transactions promptly.
• Analyze weekly collateral reports and handle special requests for lien terminations and continuations.
Requirements • Prior experience in collateral management and banking operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of state-specific vehicle laws and lien placement processes.
• Familiarity with electronic title processing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review loan documentation for accuracy.
• Experience with compliance checks and exception tracking.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with lenders and internal teams.
