    Robert Half is searching for a Desktop Support Analyst to support a large Shipyard based in Portland, OR. This Desktop Support Analyst will support with a Windows OS Migration (10-11), responsible for deploying device images. This position is 100% Remote and is a 3 month contract. Apply today!

    Job Details

    Schedule: Monday – Friday (Core Hours PST)

     

    Duration: 3 month contract

    Job Duties:

    + Administering Microsoft SCCM current branch environment, including creating or editing security groups, application deployments, patch management, general troubleshooting, log analysis, upgrading and removing objects based on established architectural guidelines and project requirements.

    + Creating/managing/updating Operating System images (Windows10) for desktop environment including the creation of task sequences, injecting drivers into existing images, and/or creating driver packages.

    + Plan, design and test vendor client/server packages for new software and patches to ensure workstations are secure.

    + Manage, monitor and respond to alerting for systems and services maintained.

    + Design, configure and manage SCCM RBAC roles and permissions.

    + Maintain current knowledge of disaster recovery plans and locations of executables, packages, and all other information necessary to recover the SCCM environment.

    + Serve as level 2/level 3 support of core infrastructure services utilizing the ITSM system. Main support areas are SCCM and Active Directory/group policy. Works closely with IT & Security teams to resolve internal user issues.

    + Lead and supervise software uplift and deployment projects as directed by the Service Desk Manager.

    + Provide guidance and training to the Desktop Support team and other IT staff as needed.

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of experience in a remote Desktop Support or related role.

    + Hands-on experience migrating Windows Operating Systems and managing machines (8 to 10 preferred)

    + Proficient with SCCM for software deployment and patch management

    + Familiar with RBAC and Active Directory administration.

    + Experience using Patch My PC or comparable patching tools to deploy or update applications on devices.

    + Basic proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks
