Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Staff Accountant to join our dedicated services team. 65% tax, 25% accounting

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review annual tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

• Research and interpret tax laws to ensure proper application and adherence to current guidelines.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address tax-related inquiries.

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax projections to support financial planning.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all tax-related documentation and correspondence.

• Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members, fostering growth and development within the team.

• Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure timely adjustments in practices.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient tax processes and procedures.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within a public accounting firm.

• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

• Proficiency in using tax preparation software and related tools.

• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• CPA certification or progress toward obtaining it is highly desirable.
