Description

The Network Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing computer networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), intranets, and other data communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Network Design and Deployment: Develop and deploy wireless network solutions tailored to specific needs, including selecting appropriate Aruba hardware and software, defining network structures, and establishing configurations.

+ Issue Resolution and Support: Diagnose and address network challenges, offering technical expertise and assistance to internal teams to maintain seamless operations.

+ Performance Enhancement: Assess network efficiency, pinpoint bottlenecks, and apply solutions to improve overall network functionality and speed.

+ Documentation and Processes: Produce and maintain detailed records, specifications, and procedural guidelines for network operations and configurations.

+ Technology Awareness: Keep up to date with the latest Aruba technologies, industry trends, and best practices in wireless networking to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

+ Team Collaboration: Work closely with other network specialists, including engineers and system administrators, to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.

+ Security Implementation: Establish and maintain robust network security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access, with expertise in security methods such as RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, and related tools.

+ Aruba Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of Aruba’s wireless access points, controllers, ClearPass Authentication Services, and related software solutions.

+ System Architecture Knowledge: Maintain proficiency in Aruba’s wireless network frameworks, including cloud-based management systems, controllers, and other Aruba-specific functionalities.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

Certifications: Aruba Certified Associate (ACA) or Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) certification, along with Aruba ClearPass Certification.

Experience: At least 7 years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on relevant technologies.
