    Summary This position is located at NAF Support Management/Information Technology. Responsibilities Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization, including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Identifies and resolves issues using established industry practices, procedures, or policies to determine the most appropriate approach for problem resolution. Reports, responds to, and resolves customer requests. Responsible for routine maintenance, upgrades, and supporting servers both physical and virtual, monitoring performance, managing user accounts and Manage permissions, and implementing security measures to ensure secure access control within the organization's IT systems. Manages, assesses, configures and protects apps and devices in a cloud-native environment while supporting modern device security and simplifying app and Device management across various devices, including mobile devices, servers, desktop computers, and virtual endpoints. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components; Performance tuning tools and techniques; System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; Systems administration methods; Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services; Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components; Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers; Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests; and IT security principles. OR Completion of a master's degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours as indicated above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks. AND In addition, candidates must demonstrate IT-related experience which addresses the following four competencies: 1. Attention to detail - Such as implementing quality control procedures and conducting compliance reviews. 2. Customer service - Such as providing assistance to both internal and external customers; assessing customers' needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction. 3. Verbal communication - Such as conducting formal presentations or training to audiences at varying levels of hierarchy and technical expertise. 4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills - Such as identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. *The experience and education must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts must be uploaded be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
