As the Associate Project Manager, you will ensure R&D projects are completed on time/cost & budget. You will support cutting edge medical device products from the inception phase to launch for Stryker’s Digital Robotics and Enabling Technologies business unit.

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Weston, FL location. You will
need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work from home on other days.

What you will do:
+ Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Aligning business objectives with project execution.
+ Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams, support work break-down.
+ Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart. Manage a project and or sub-project timeline.
+ Collaborate with supervisor and/or Project Manager to establish project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
+ Partner with functional teams to establish project plans. Monitor and maintain plans.
+ Create a risk register and management plan with supervision. . Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop sub-project risk response plan.
+ Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.
+ Develop a project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Assist with defining the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews.
+ Create a Stakeholder register for the project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.
+ Support the development of a project communications management plan.
What You Need:
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or related function
+ Minimum 1 year work, academic, or other experience creating project timelines and budgets, leading cross-functional projects, or allocating/estimating resources across teams
