Job Title: Collections Specialist (Onsite – Tempe, AZ)

**Location:** Tempe, AZ 85281

**Assignment Length:** 12 Months, temp-to-hire.

Work Schedule:

+ Monday–Thursday: Two days from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and two days from 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

+ Friday: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

+ Every other Saturday: 5:00 AM–10:00 AM

We're looking for a proactive, results-driven **Collections Specialist** to join our onsite team in Tempe. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to drive account resolution, and enjoy connecting with customers to find solutions, we want to hear from you.

This role is perfect for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and can navigate tough conversations with confidence and professionalism. You’ll be a key player in keeping our collections operation running smoothly—and making a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage and collect on assigned accounts with 95% efficiency or better

+ Achieve or exceed daily performance targets for contacts and resolutions

+ Process payments, fee waivers, Right to Cure notices, and deferrals in line with policy

+ Order credit reports and conduct skip tracing as needed

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all collection activities

+ Escalate complex or at-risk accounts to management with clear updates

+ Provide backup support for general customer service tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum **1 year of recent collections experience** (required)

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to build rapport while maintaining firm collection standards

+ Sharp decision-making and problem-solving skills

+ Self-starter who thrives independently and in a team

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bilingual in Spanish a plus

**Important:** This is a fully **onsite** role. Candidates must be able to work the full schedule and commute to the Tempe office.

**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
