We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious **Maintenance Worker** to support general maintenance operations in our manufacturing facility. This entry-level role includes assisting engineers and technicians, performing routine maintenance tasks, and carrying out **basic welding duties** as needed. The ideal candidate will have foundational skills in TIG and stick welding and must hold a valid welding certification.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform general labor and maintenance tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and moving equipment or materials.

+ Assist engineers and maintenance technicians with machinery repairs, mechanical adjustments, installations, and inspections.

+ Use basic hand and power tools to assemble or disassemble equipment, tighten bolts and screws, and align machine parts.

+ **Perform entry-level TIG and stick welding** for minor repairs, fabrication, or reinforcement of metal machine parts.

+ Carry out light welding tasks such as spot welds, bracket fixes, or frame reinforcement — welding is not the primary duty but is required.

+ Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure work areas are clean and safe.

+ Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.

+ Keep basic records of completed tasks and parts used.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ **Valid welding certification required** (TIG and stick welding certification preferred; must meet basic competency standards for light industrial welding tasks).

+ Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions and diagrams.

+ Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.

+ Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

+ Physically fit — able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various plant environments.

**Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour
