**Job Title:** Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Assistant
**Location:** Arlington, TX
**Pay Rate:** $26.50/hour

Overview
Adecco is currently hiring an **EHS Assistant** to support operations at a large manufacturing facility on behalf of our client. In this role, you’ll work closely with the EHS Coordinator to support and implement the site’s Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to help maintain compliance, organize training programs, and promote a safe working environment in a high-profile industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support & Implementation
• Assist in developing and improving EHS policies and procedures
• Ensure alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
Compliance & Documentation
• Help monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
• Prepare and maintain required reports and documentation
• Review and understand Safety Management Manuals
Incident Support & Analysis
• Assist with incident investigations and workers' compensation processes
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
Risk Assessment
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and support pre-task safety planning
• Promote safe work procedures and assist in risk mitigation efforts
Training & Records Management
• Help prepare training materials and coordinate training sessions
• Track and maintain employee certifications and training records
Communication & Reporting
• Ensure timely communication of safety-related concerns and updates
• Support reporting of EHS metrics to leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred
• **OR** 3+ years of equivalent experience in EHS, safety training, or compliance support
• Certifications such as CSP or OHST are a plus
Skills & Competencies
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience supporting audits and EHS programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
• Must be able to walk job sites and customer locations regularly
• Ability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must pass forklift certification and assist in training others
• Work involves both office and field environments, including exposure to outdoor conditions and industrial settings
