The Opportunity
We are seeking a **dynamic and driven Account Specialist** to join our Field Sales team in **Michigan** . This role focuses on promoting a hematology-focused oncology therapy and engaging with key stakeholders across cancer centers, hospitals, and community practices.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader, the Account Specialist will be responsible for driving demand and educating healthcare providers on the appropriate use of our hematology product.
Key Responsibilities
+ Meet or exceed territory sales goals through effective promotion of oncology therapeutic products.
+ Develop a strong understanding of territory accounts and customer needs.
+ Call on hospitals, cancer centers, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), oncology practices, hematologists, oncologists, nurses, and other key stakeholders.
+ Effectively communicate the clinical value and therapeutic benefits of the product.
+ Deliver patient-centric education to customers and support appropriate product use.
+ Develop and execute strategic territory and account management plans using market insights and analytics.
+ Maintain full compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and company policies.
+ Stay up-to-date on disease state knowledge, market dynamics, clinical guidelines, and competitor activity.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer needs and optimize outcomes.
+ Complete administrative responsibilities and reporting in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
+ Attend required training, meetings, and industry conferences.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales preferred.
+ Oncology or hematology experience strongly preferred.
+ Experience with buy-and-bill products is a plus.
+ Demonstrated success in building relationships and influencing decision-makers.
+ Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory.
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
+ Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Willingness to travel within the territory approximately 4 days per week, with occasional weekend travel for conferences.
**Pay Details:** $160,000.00 to $18,000.00 per year
