Job Title: Weekend Shift - Laser Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our precision metal fabrication company, which serves diverse industries such as aerospace, medical, appliance, defense contracting, and architectural sectors. This role involves setting up and operating laser machines, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and interpreting data from manual measurements to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate laser machines efficiently.

+ Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.

+ Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machines.

+ Work from blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Interpret data from CMM and manual measurements to adjust machining processes.

+ Lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds; utilize lifts for heavier items.

Essential Skills

+ 3 years of experience in operating laser machines.

+ Proficiency in micrometers and calipers.

+ Experience in machine setup, programming, and operation.

+ Fabrication skills and familiarity with punch press, robot, and press brake.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1 year of experience in setting up laser machines.

Work Environment

Work during the weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM, in a climate-controlled, clean shop. Overtime is optional and available. Enjoy a pay scale ranging from $19.50 to $29.23, with potential for growth based on performance. Receive a $2 premium for off shifts.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly and sales are through the roof: 50M in sales and working towards 80M

Bonuses below. If it's under $500 - it gets paid at 60 days. If over, gets paid at 6 months and a year.
