    Job Title: Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled mechanics to join a dynamic team working on a fleet of cars, trucks, and diesel engine vehicles. This role is divided into three levels, each with distinct responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

    Responsibilities

    + Class A Mechanics: Perform complete overhauls of diesel and gas trucks including F150, box trucks, semis, tractors, peterbilts, internationals, freightliners, and cummins. This involves tearing down engines and transmissions, bearing kits, upper oil pans on diesel vehicles, brakes, and alignment.

    + Class B Mechanics: Handle brakes, lights, electrical work, safety checks, DOT compliance, tune-ups, installation of egr valves, turbo and actuator work, and software updates on the fleet.

    + Class C Mechanics: Conduct tire rotations, oil changes, preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspections.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in Diesel Troubleshooting, Mechanical Diagnosis, Repair, and Electrical Systems.

    + Minimum of 1 year as a diesel mechanic.

    + Hydraulics, Preventive Maintenance, Automotive Repair, Pneumatics, Welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic.

    Work Environment

     

    Operate in a well-equipped shop with 24 bays, open from 7am to 6pm. Choose a start time that best fits your schedule: 7am, 8am, or 9am. Enjoy the benefit of no weekend work.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

     

    No weekend work

     

    Direct hire

    Steady 40-50 hours

    GROWING! Looking to add a 2nd shift as well and travel crew for anyone who wants that

     

    Access to as much Ford training they the company pays for upon completion
