Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

This role involves using production equipment to fabricate doors and working on an assembly line. The position requires standing for up to 8-10 hours per day and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

+ Operate small and large machines in the production of doors.

+ Work on door assembly line building doors.

+ Inspect all products for quality.

+ Machining doors for hardware installation.

+ Material preparation and material handling.

+ Stage and package finished products for delivery.

+ Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.

+ Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety rules.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with assembly and mechanical production.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to perform mechanical assembly and brazing.

+ Attention to detail and consistency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Past experience in commercial woodworking such as doors, millwork, and cabinets.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

+ General knowledge of building materials.

+ Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

This position is based in a manufacturing facility, where you will work with advanced production equipment. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of STAYTON, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.93 - $21.93/hr.
