    **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa

    **Job Type:** Contract to Hire

    **Shift:** 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

    **Job Overview:** We are seeking motivated and experienced laborers to assist with refurbishing construction trailers, focusing on removing and replacing doors, windows, flooring, siding, cabinets, and more. If you enjoy working with hand and power tools and are eager to learn new skills in a stable, construction-focused environment, we want you to apply!

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set up units, including anchoring, blocking, leveling, interior/exterior seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps.

    + Install and remove skirting and exterior siding on modular trailers.

    + Perform knock-down duties, such as separating buildings, securing walls, disconnecting utilities, and preparing for shipment.

    + Provide service work for customer units, including electrical and plumbing repairs.

    + Complete work orders and service orders using the Field Service Application.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to read tape measures accurately for precise installations.

    + Comfortable with basic electrical tasks in construction settings.

    + Experience in carpentry or maintenance work is highly preferred.

    Additional Preferred Experience:

    + Familiarity with drywall, flooring, and installation processes.

    + Skills in electrical work, carpentry, or maintenance.

    Work Environment & Schedule:

    + First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks.

    + Occasional weekend work, with rotational scheduling to avoid consecutive shifts.

    + Indoor facility ensuring stability and consistent workflow.
