• Security Camera Installation Technician

    Job Description:

    We seek a skilled and experienced Commercial Security Camera Installation Technician to join our team at our Data Center in New Carlisle, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing security cameras, Cat5/Cat6 cabling, alarms, and entry access devices. This role involves working on installing the actual hardware for these devices, including commonly used Mercury security hardware.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Install and configure security cameras, Cat5/Cat6 cabling, alarms, and entry access devices.

    + Work with Mercury security hardware and other commonly used security systems.

    + Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with industry regulations.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the installation and functionality of security systems.

    + Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of security systems.

    + Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in installing security cameras, cabling, alarms, and entry access devices.

    + Familiarity with Mercury security hardware and other commonly used security systems.

    + Strong understanding of Cat5/Cat6 cabling and network infrastructure.

    + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.

    + Relevant certifications or training in security system installation are a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working in a data center environment.

    + Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for security system installations.

    + Additional certifications in security systems or network infrastructure.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
