Description of the Job:

Mount Sinai Department of Pathology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of COVID-19 serology. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research on the immune response to SARS-CoV-2, focusing on antibody detection, characterization, and the long-term immune protection provided by vaccines and natural infections.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and optimize high-throughput serological assays for the detection of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, utilizing clinical chemistry automation platforms.

+ Collaborate with clinical chemistry laboratories to streamline COVID-19 serology testing within automated systems.

+ Analyze data to assess antibody prevalence, immune response duration, and correlate clinical outcomes with serological findings.

+ Engage in cross-functional collaboration with immunologists, clinical chemists, and bioinformaticians to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.

+ Prepare manuscripts for publication in high-impact journals and present findings at national and international conferences.

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
