Job Title: HRIS Specialist (Contractor)Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Specialist for a 6-month contract position. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining data security and enhancing HR processes.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain data security and confidentiality standards within the HRIS.
+ Process requested employee data changes in the HRIS in a timely manner.
+ Troubleshoot system issues raised by employees and escalate to the Manager if needed.
+ Support processes enabled by the HRIS, such as benefits enrollments, compensation cycles, and onboarding/offboarding.
+ Conduct audits of data both in the system and as part of processes like compliance reporting or payroll to ensure accuracy.
+ Assist in running and preparing reports for various business stakeholders.
+ Work efficiently in a shared mailbox environment.
+ Monitor integration file notifications and escalate to the Manager if there are any failed statuses.
+ Assist in designing solutions for HR business processes and requirements within HR systems.
+ Provide support with payroll as needed.
+ Contribute to the HRIS SOP project.
+ Assist in gathering requirements and testing for new HCM implementation.
+ Collaborate with the Manager of HRIS to resolve issues with external vendors.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ HCM experience required, with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in HRIS or a similar role.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel functions.
+ Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Environment
This role can be on-site in Cambridge or fully remote, with a preference for someone local. However, there is flexibility in the arrangement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
