Job Description
The Global Supply Chain Learning Manager is a newly created role focused on centralizing, globalizing, and strategically organizing supply chain training initiatives across a manufacturing network. This key position provides leadership to align learning and development efforts with regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and workforce capability building across regions. The role is responsible for standardizing training programs, harmonizing content delivery, and managing the learning technology ecosystem to ensure consistent, high-quality training across diverse geographies.
Responsibilities
+ Facilitate the design, development, and implementation of standardized training programs across all global manufacturing locations while respecting regional requirements.
+ Centralize and harmonize supply chain manufacturing learning content and delivery methods.
+ Ensure all training programs comply with regional Health & Safety regulations and Food Safety Quality Standards (FSQS) requirements.
+ Manage the global learning technology ecosystem, including Workday Learning and LinkedIn Learning platforms.
+ Oversee Red Zone safety training implementation and compliance across all facilities.
+ Partner with Global Supply Chain Leaders and regional plant managers to identify critical skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
+ Create and maintain a global training calendar and certification tracking system.
+ Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure training effectiveness and compliance levels.
+ Develop training materials that address diverse learning needs and can be deployed across multiple languages and cultures.
+ Lead a team of regional training coordinators to ensure consistent program delivery.
+ Actively participate as a member of the Global L&D Group, contributing insights, sharing supply chain needs, and supporting the alignment of supply chain learning with enterprise-wide development priorities.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Learning & Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
+ 7+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years focused on manufacturing or supply chain environments.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety Quality Standards and Health & Safety regulations in manufacturing settings.
+ Experience administering learning management systems, particularly Workday Learning, Alchemy, and LinkedIn Learning.
+ Familiarity with Red Zone safety protocols and training requirements.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
+ Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and experience working in global environments.
+ Willingness to travel internationally (25-30%).
+ Proven ability to influence without direct authority across diverse stakeholder groups.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $52.89/hr.
