    Job Title: 2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in a dynamic job shop environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing full set-ups, troubleshooting machines, and holding tolerances of +/- 0.0002 while working with a variety of stainless and exotic materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform full set-ups of CNC lathes in a job shop environment.

    + Troubleshoot machines and read complex prints to ensure precise tolerances.

    + Set up and operate machines to hold tolerances of +/- 0.0002.

    + Work with a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, titanium, and brass.

    + Utilize live tooling experience, preferred.

    + Operate various lathes including dual spindle twin turrets (Puma, Doosan).

    + Perform an average of one setup per shift, with potential for more depending on job complexity.

    + Handle production runs ranging from 100 to 5,000 parts.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of CNC lathe set-up experience.

    + 2+ years of machining experience in medical or aerospace environments, maintaining tolerances of +/- 0.0002.

    + Experience with live-tooling or multi-axis preferred.

    + Ability to read and understand CNC programs and operational layouts.

    + Understanding of tooling requirements for machine setup and operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of tooling applications for exotic metals is a plus.

    + Proficiency in editing programs at the machine.

    + Experience with parts as small as a fingernail.

    Work Environment

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomington, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $83200.00/yr.

    - Climate Controlled and super clean

    - Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%)

     

    - 2 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that

     

    - Average tenure is 10+ years

     

    - 12% shift differential

    - Life Insurance

    - Health, dental, vision, etc... (their benefits for a single person are very phenomenal)

     

    - Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits

    This is a fully onsite position in Bloomington,MN.
