    Job Title: Production Associate ($19/hr.+)

    Job Description

    As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for loading fabricated titanium parts onto machines according to specific dimensions, sorting parts of various sizes to determine the next step in the process, and performing quality checks to ensure measurements are correct and that there are no defects. You will be cross-trained to perform all functions in the shop, including shear, torch, and blaster operations. Additionally, you will carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks on machinery as required and operate a forklift to move material throughout the facility. Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is crucial.

    Responsibilities

    + Load fabricated titanium parts onto machines according to specific dimensions.

    + Sort parts of various sizes to determine the next step in the process.

    + Perform quality checks on parts to ensure measurements are correct and there are no defects.

    + Cross-train to perform all functions in the shop (shear, torch, blaster, etc.).

    + Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on machinery as required.

    + Operate forklift to move material throughout the facility.

    + Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.

    Essential Skills

    + Production experience

    + General labor skills

    + Mechanical inclination

    + Ability to read a tape measure

    + Previous manufacturing/production experience

    + Forklift operation skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + At least one year of previous manufacturing experience

    + Ability to lift 50lbs

    + Six months of experience using hand and power tools

    + Previous forklift experience is a plus

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment consists of a smaller team, fostering a strong team atmosphere with only 7-8 employees on the 3rd shift. While there isn't much mandatory overtime, there are opportunities for voluntary overtime as needed. Most of the work is not very physically taxing, although the production floor can be loud at times, with hearing protection provided.

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.
