    Production Machine Operator – Manufacturing Team

     

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Production Machine Operator** to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality plastic products.

    Shift:

    + Openings on all shifts; First, Second and Third

    Responsibilities:

    + Set up machines at the start of each shift to ensure proper working order.

    + Perform testing procedures to verify machine optimization during production.

    + Maintain and clean machines before and after shifts.

    + Monitor machines throughout operations to ensure smooth functionality.

    + Troubleshoot issues during machine operation.

    + Report malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

    + Inspect output for machine-related errors or defects.

    + Keep inventory of job materials.

    + Ensure seamless machine operation and efficiency.

    + Adhere to health and safety regulations.

    + Communicate workload and operational details with previous shifts.

    + Follow instructions accurately from Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS).

    + Maintain precise and accurate production records.

    + Report machine or product concerns to supervisors.

    + Conduct visual inspections for cosmetic defects.

    + Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

    + Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and consistent attendance for company success.

    Skills:

    + Machine operation and troubleshooting

    + Manufacturing environment experience

    + Production line efficiency

    + Assembly processes

    + Safety procedures and quality control

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + Proven experience as a machine operator.

    + Working knowledge of various high-speed machinery and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

    + Understanding of production procedures.

    + Commitment to health and safety regulations (including protective gear usage).

    + Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    + Physical stamina and strength.

    + Basic math proficiency for counting and calculations.

    + Ability to stand for long durations and move between workstations.

    + Manual dexterity for grasping, clipping, trimming, etc.

    + Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

    Experience Level:

    Intermediate Level

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
