Job Title: CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

+ Generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills, and other machining centers.

+ Design and develop tooling and machining fixtures.

+ Read and comprehend work orders, production instructions, 2D Prints, and 3D Models

+ Track and document all revisions to product drawings and tooling

+ Partner with Engineering and Sales to ensure parts meet customer specifications

+ Provide feedback to management on potential risks, possible improvements, and problem resolution

+ Ensure all projects/parts comply with required specifications and meet quality standards

+ Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools; CNC mills, 3 and 5 axis routers; Haas, Fadal, DMS

+ Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers

+ Complete machine set-ups to part specifications

+ Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

+ Ensure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production ready

+ Assist with machine maintenance and adhere to maintenance schedules

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine shop, job shop, or production environments

+ Knowledge of MasterCAM and SolidWorks

+ Proficient with CAD/CAM systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and programming

+ Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawings

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
