Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to load metal coils onto the line using a hi-lo, feed the coil into the machine for trimming, and ensure the trimmed coil meets customer specifications. This is a physically demanding role that involves pushing and pulling large metal coils and bins. As you grow in this position, you'll receive training to independently manage order processing on the computer.

Responsibilities

+ Load metal coils onto the line using a hi-lo.

+ Feed coils into the machine for trimming according to customer specifications.

+ Inspect trimmed coils and ensure they are appropriately tagged based on gauge and material.

+ Push and pull bins containing large metal coils.

+ Learn to pull up orders on the computer to run the line independently.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of recent experience in machine operation requiring setup.

+ Ability to work on 2nd and 3rd shifts (3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am).

+ Experience in welding and fabrication.

+ Capability to perform physically demanding tasks.

+ Willingness to work independently and shift flexibility.

+ Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

+ Score of at least 70% on the Bennett Mechanical Test.

+ Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manufacturing experience.

+ Proficiency in operating hi-lo equipment.
