Warehouse Worker/ Forklift Operator- Weekly Pay $21hr

1st shift: 7:25am-5:00 pm, potential Saturdays (9am-3pm). Overtime Available.

30 min lunch, 2x 10 minute breaks.

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker will spend most of their time operating a boom lift or forklift within the warehouse. Key responsibilities include receiving trucks from distribution centers several times per week, packing job orders accurately, and loading/unloading shipments. The role also involves assisting customers with loading, handling UPS pack outs, and lifting heavy materials such as tile or granite pieces.

Responsibilities

+ Safely operate the forklift/boom lift according to training methods and procedures.

+ Handle slabs safely and load/unload customer vehicles as per branch-specific instructions.

+ Load and unload commercial and company trucks, containers, and trailers following branch-specific guidelines.

+ Pull correct slabs for orders and transfers, stage or place them appropriately, and manage associated paperwork.

Work Environment

This position involves working both indoors in a warehouse and occasionally outdoors loading trucks in the tile yard. The warehouse is not climate-controlled but is equipped with large fans to help with cooling. Employees work near material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes and handle packaged cement-based products and chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
