• Construction Quality Control Inspector

    Actalent (Lima, OH)


    Responsibilities

    + Prepare detailed reports of tests conducted and results obtained.

    + Proactively review plans to ensure materials and procedures will pass quality testing.

    + Review project contract documents per established quality procedures.

    + Arrange and facilitate pre-construction meetings and pre-install meetings with key personnel including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other prime contractors.

    + Ensure adherence to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.

    + Establish project objectives and performance standards within corporate policy boundaries.

    + Ensure plans and specifications are properly maintained and updated; coordinate with project superintendent for maintenance and updates of as-built drawings.

    + Inspect work performed to ensure quality craftsmanship.

    + Undertake all actions required to complete job closeout requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in commercial construction projects (preferred)

    + Working knowledge in all construction disciplines, including civil and structural engineering (preferred)

    + Associates degree or bachelors degree preferred

    + Ideally 2+ years of construction experience

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
